These terms govern your use of Orbit, the authentication service operated by Cybernaut Apps. By creating an Orbit account, you agree to them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, write to us.
01The service
Orbit is an OAuth 2.0 identity provider that issues JWT tokens to applications in the Cybernaut ecosystem. We provide the service free of charge to end users. Orbit may also manage a universal credits balance on your behalf, described in Universal credits below.
02Your account
You must be 13 years or older to create an Orbit account, or 16 in jurisdictions where local law requires it. You are responsible for keeping your linked provider accounts secure; if a provider account is compromised, your Orbit account inherits that risk.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts to evade bans or rate limits are prohibited.
- You must keep at least one provider linked at all times to avoid lockout.
- You may not use Orbit to authenticate against services not operated by Cybernaut Apps.
03Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass rate limits or security mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer the service, except where prohibited by applicable law.
- Use Orbit to facilitate unlawful activity or to abuse other users of Cybernaut apps.
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account to another person.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where possible we contact the account holder first; egregious abuse can result in immediate termination.
04Universal credits
Orbit may introduce universal credits — a single prepaid balance, managed centrally by Orbit, that you can spend across the Cybernaut ecosystem instead of buying separate balances locked to one app such as Jupiter. Where credits are available, the following terms apply.
- Credits are a limited license to access digital features within Cybernaut apps. They are not money, carry no cash value, and are not a deposit, gift card, or legal tender.
- Your balance is held centrally by Orbit; spending in any Cybernaut app draws from the same balance, so credits are never stranded on a single platform like Jupiter.
- Credits are non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, or exchanged for cash outside the Cybernaut ecosystem.
- Purchases are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law.
- We may set purchase limits, expiry rules, or per-app restrictions, and may change, suspend, or discontinue credits — with reasonable notice, and a way to spend remaining balances where the law requires it.
- If your account is closed or terminated, unused credits are forfeited after the 14-day recovery window, except where the law requires otherwise.
Payments are handled by a third-party processor; Orbit never sees or stores your card or billing details. What we keep is covered in the Privacy Policy.
05Availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime. Status, incidents, and historical availability are
published at status.cybernaut.app. Orbit is provided on an "as
is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
06Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cybernaut Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Orbit, including loss of access to Cybernaut apps, lost data, or damages caused by third-party identity providers we depend on.
07Termination
You may terminate your Orbit account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonable. Termination triggers the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy. Any unused universal credits are forfeited as described in Universal credits, except where the law requires otherwise.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
09Changes to these terms
Material changes are announced 30 days in advance. Continued use of Orbit after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree to a change, you can delete your account before it takes effect.
